To receive popup alerts from up.time, the Windows messaging service must be enabled on the recipient's computer.

Follow these steps to enable the Windows messaging service:

  1. In Windows, select Start > Control Panel.
  2. In the Control Panel, double click Administrative Tools, and then double click Services.

    The Services window appears.

  3. Find and then double click Messenger in the list of services.

    The Messenger Properties dialog box appears.

  4. In the Messenger Properties dialog box, select Automatic from the Startup type dropdown list.
  5. Click Apply.
