article Access the View Applications dashboard without logging in

The View Applications tab in GlobalScan is available directly via a URL reference without requiring an interactive up.time login.  This feature can be used to allow users with generic credentials to display critical Application status information.

To access the applications dashboard, enter a URL in the following format:

http://<hostname>:<port>/applicationPortal.php?userid=<user>&password=<pass>

  • hostname = your up.time web interface host name
  • port = your up.time web interface port
  • user = the username to use for the login
  • pass = the password for that user

Example: http://myuptime:9999/applicationPortal.php?userid=manager&password=1234
