To add ESX servers to up.time, do the following:

1. In the My Enterprise panel, click Add System/Network Device.
2. Enter a descriptive name for the server in the Display name in up.time field.
3. Optionally, enter a description of the system in the Description field.
4. Select 'VMware ESX v3' or 'VMware ESX' from the Type of System/Device dropdown list
5. Enter the host name of the system in the Host Name field.
6. Enter information in the following fields:
* User Name
The local user name required to log into the VMware ESX v3 server directly.

* Password
The password required to log into the VMware ESX v3 server directly.

NOTE: ESX 3 monitoring is agent-less so no agent installation is required on the target ESX server.
