Hello,
I'm wondering if you can do a process count for multiple processes in one service monitor. For example, if I want to keep an eye on OmniBack there are three processes we watch for: rds, crs and mmd (and only 1 instance of each). Can these go in the same service monitor or do you need one for each specific process? Thanks. |

Hi Steve,
The Process Count Check service monitor does an exact string comparison (no wild cards permitted) of the process entered in the service monitor against the list of processes on the system being monitored, so, unfortunately, searching for related processes in one monitor is not possible at this time. I'll pass this along to the Product Team for consideration in a future release of the product. Regards, Chris |
