Composite (Aggregate) Monitor (uptime 5.x)
---
Check the status of other monitors to determine the aggregated state of an application (or component).
Example: trigger an alert or outage if more than 3 HTTP monitors are down (in a WARN/CRIT state) in a web cluster.
Note: This functionality is now built in up.time 6+! Just add a new Application (in My Infrastructure) to aggregate multiple monitors. |
Custom GlobalScan Threshold Manager
---
Provides a user interface to modify the default CPU, Mem, Disk Full and Disk I/O thresholds for the GlobalScan dashboard. These values are stored in the database and can be tuned on a per-system basis by modifying the database. This UI simplifies the process. Note that these thresholds are for display purposes only and will not generate alerts.
Custom Remote Monitor
---
The Custom Remote Monitor will trigger a script on a remote system via the up.time agent and return the output. Note that this monitor provides an excellent general template for custom monitoring.
Database Table Partitioning Mod: MySQL 5.1/5.5
---
This mod will convert the database tables to partitioned tables for better performance and improved data management as well as automated archiving/deletion.
This is supported on MySQL 5.1/5.5 |
Database Table Partitioning Mod: SQL Server
---
This mod will convert the database tables to partitioned tables for better performance and improved data management as well as faster archiving and deletion.
This is supported for Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 R1/R2. |
Datastore Disk Free in MB with Volume Filter Inclusion Monitor
---
This plug-in provides a solution to set thresholds on the actual number of megabytes of disk space available on any given file system. It will find the file system with the least available space and generate alerts using thresholds based on acceptable space remaining on a volume.
DB2 Basic Monitor
---
Performs basic checks on DB2 databases.
Note: It is not supported for QAS databases. |
Enhanced Log File Monitor
---
This plug-in monitor is designed for use with the up.time monitoring station and Windows, Linux, Solaris or AIX version 5+ agents. It scans for certain log files on the agent system and searches the files for a specified string (regex compatible). It will scan only new lines in files and not generate alerts for older issues. It keeps track of this by using a bookmark (in a temp file) so each time it runs it will simply go to the last position in the file and continue scanning. It is designed to scan large (multi-GB) as well as many files within a second.
File and Directory Monitor
---
This monitor can report the following Directory information:
- Number of files matching a certain regular expression;
- Total size (in Kb) of the files that match that expression;
- Age (in minutes) of the most recent file;
- Most recent date of the latest file;
- Most recent time of the latest file;
- File name that was most recently modified. |
Remote Acknowledge Alerts
---
Allows alerts to be acknowledged remotely from an alert email via a quick web page (login not required). It acknowledges the alert using the built-in API.
Server Performance Metrics
---
Monitor core system metrics
This is now in up.time 6 as the built-in Performance check monitor. Please use the Performance Monitor in up.time 6+ for this functionality instead. |
