Publishing Options

If emailing reports to users on a schedule isn't exactly what you are looking for up.time also allows you to publish reports to a publically available web site on a defined schedule. This allows for a central location that users can browse to in order to view archived reports. The published report location can be accessed directly via URL or from the up.time web interface via the 'Published Reports' link under the Reports tab. To publish a report follow these steps:

Step 1 - Click Reports on the up.time menu bar

Step 2 - Click the name of the report you would like to publish

Step 3 - Select whatever options you desire within the report.

Step 4 - Set your publishing and scheduling options under the 'Save Report Section'. These options are the same as for a regular scheduled report except that you will need to select the 'Published' check-box. Published reports also allow reports to be generated in PDF, XML or html output formats.




Step 5 - Give your report a name and then Save the report, after you have saved your report it will be visible under your My Portal page with your other saved reports.
