Please use the form bellow to request a new license key for your up.time 4 installation. License requests are processed on a first come, first serve basis. Our licensing department will forward your updated license key to you as quickly as possible. Please note that up.time 4 license keys are only available to current support subscribers, if you are not a support subscriber and would like to upgrade your up.time 3.0 installation to up.time 4 please contact sales@uptimesoftware.com

NOTE: Your up.time 3.0 license key will not work with up.time 4, you must request a new up.time 4 license key to upgrade to up.time 4. This is a FREE upgrade for all currently supported up.time 3.0 users only

Upgrade Steps
The high level steps for upgrading to up.time 4 are listed below. Please complete each of the steps as indicated during the upgrade process. If at any time further information or assistance is required please contact support@uptimesoftware.com.

  1. Read the up.time 3.0 to up.time 4 Upgrade Documentation found here. It is VERY important that you read and understand the complete upgrade document before starting the upgrade.
  2. Download the latest complete installation version of up.time 4 from here (requires login)
  3. Install up.time 4 on your target monitoring station
  4. Request an up.time 4 license key using the form above
  5. Optional: Perform a database integrity check on your up.time 3.0 monitoring station
  6. Perform an upgrade pre-flight check. If you have any questions about the pre-flight results please contact support
  7. Perform the upgrade, if possible it is ideal to run a test upgrade before running the complete upgrade process
  8. Verify the configuration and performance data on your newly upgraded up.time 4 installation
  9. Shutdown your up.time 3 installation (required to receive a permanent up.time 4 license)
Product End of Life Information
The following uptime software products will no longer be supported by uptime software according to the dates indicated. To continue to utilize up.time and receive further product updates it it highly recomended that you upgrade to up.time 4 well in advance of these dates.

up.time Windows Agent Windows NT 4.0 1 May 2006 The up.time Windows agent running on Windows NT 4.0 will not be supported with up.time 4 at any point. Support for this platform will continue with up.time 3.0 until 1 May 2006.
up.time Novell Netware Agent Agent based data collection from Novell Netware 5.x,6.x. 1 May 2006 The up.time Novell Netware agent will not be supported with up.time 4 at any point. Support for this platform will continue with up.time 3.0 until 1 May 2006. Support for the Novell NRM agentless solution is not affected by this change and will continue on through the life cycle of up.time version 4.
