article File System Capacity Monitor Examples

Listed below are some common examples for using the up.time File System Capacity Service Monitor.

Ignore a drive by setting one or more exclude patterns to the drive name.

  • Windows Example: D:
  • Other: /usr

Ignore a set of similar drives (exclusion patterns allow you to use * to match multiple drives).

  • Windows Example: N/A
  • Other: /u* to ignore all mounts starting with /* (note that * can only be used at the end of a mount name).

Check only a specific drive.  Set an exclusion pattern to * to ignore all drives and enter special case values for only those drives you want to check.
