article Using retained service metrics data to generate graphs

It is possible to generate graphs and reports using historical service metrics data.  To enable this functionality, you need to select the Retained Data checkbox in the service monitor as this will instruct up.time to store the collected data.

After up.time has collected sufficient data, click on the following selections:

  • My Enterprise.
  • The system that the service monitor is monitoring.
  • Services (on the top left menu).
  • Service Metrics.

Finally, choose the metrics that you want to graph and click on Generate Graph.

If you want to generate a report, select the Service Metrics report and graph the desired data.
