AIX agent installation error - sar: time change not positive|
You may encounter the following error during installation of the up.time AIX agent:
Checking to see if perfparse returns valid columns sar: time change not positive /opt/uptime-agent/bin/perfparse.sh[28]: %usr: 0403-057 Syntax error Sorry invalid parameters in CPU test please contact support sar: time change not positive This error is caused by a problem with the local AIX verions of sar and sadc. For information on resolving this issue, please refer to SAR error and SADC problems on AIX. Note that the agent not returning CPU and disk stats is another symptom of the same root cause. |
