Follow these steps to change a monitor's timing settings:

  1. Click Services.
  2. Use the main pane search options to locate the monitor you want to edit.
  3. Click the Edit icon beside the monitor name.
  4. To adjust the monitoring frequency, modify the Check Interval field.  You may also want to adjust the recheck interval and max rechecks to tune the amount of time it takes for this monitor to register an official outage and start alerts or actions.  To adjust the frequency that outage alerts or actions are triggered on this monitor, adjust the Alert Interval field.
  5. Click Save.
