When retrieving the HostID for a monitoring station platform, the following message may be displayed:
The FLEXlm Host ID of this machine is ""
As FLEXlm depends on an adapter named eth0, it may be necessary to create an adapter alias named eth0 to enable FLEXlm to correctly report the HostID.
