article How do I group users to receive the same outage alerts?

up.time Notification Groups define groups of users who are eligible to receive outage alerts from an associated alert profile.

 

To add a Notification Group:

  1. Click Users on the up.time tool bar.
  2. In the Tree panel, click Add New Notification Group.
  3. Type a descriptive name in the Name of Notification Group field.  This name will be selected when defining alert profiles.
  4. Type a description of the group in the Description of Notification Group field (optional).
  5. Select one or more alert profiles to apply to the group from the Available Alert Profiles list and then click Add.
  6. Select one or more users to add to the group from the Available Users list and then click Add.
  7. Click Save.
